A source from the Ukrainian Security Service reported today that Ukrainian special forces captured over a hundred Russian soldiers on Wednesday. This occurred as Ukrainian forces crossed the border into Russia’s Kursk region.
The captured group, numbering 102 soldiers from the Russian 488th Motorized Rifle Regiment and its affiliated (Akhmat) unit, is the largest single capture of Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion.
The Ukrainian forces also took control of a heavily fortified command center, which included concrete defenses, underground communications, barracks, a kitchen, weapons, and even a bathroom.
