 Qatari Prime Minister to Visit Tehran Soon

According to Tasnim News Agency, the Qatari Prime Minister is expected to visit Iran in the near future.

The semi-official agency reported that Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani will meet with Iranian officials, including Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, to discuss bilateral and regional matters.

Qatar, along with Egypt and the United States, is actively involved in mediation efforts to broker a ceasefire and end the ongoing ten-month conflict between Israeli forces and the Palestinian group Hamas in Gaza.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken left Qatar on Tuesday after a short trip to the Middle East aimed at advancing peace negotiations.
