Qatar has expressed strong condemnation over the intrusion of Israeli government ministers, Knesset members, and hundreds of settlers into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, along with the imposition of restrictions on worshippers’ access on Tuesday.
In a statement, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs described these repeated attempts to alter the religious and historical status of Al-Aqsa Mosque as not only an assault on Palestinians but also on Muslims worldwide.
It also warned about the potential negative effects on the ongoing efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and urged the international community to take immediate action to prevent further violations.
