**Kuwaiti Oil Barrel Price Falls 56 Cents to $79.92**


In economic news, the price of Kuwaiti oil dropped by 56 cents to $79.92 per barrel on Thursday, compared to $80.48 in the previous session, as reported by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.

On the global markets, Brent crude futures rose by $1.28 to $81.04 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) futures increased by $1.18 to $78.16 per barrel.


U.S. Department of Labor data revealed that retail sales in the U.S. surpassed expectations in July, and a separate report showed a smaller-than-anticipated rise in new unemployment claims.
