On Tuesday, the Kuwait Red Crescent Society announced the initiation of a clean water project in central and southern Gaza to assist displaced persons in shelters.
Secretary-General Maha Al-Burjas informed the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the recent Israeli assaults on Gaza have heavily damaged water and sanitation infrastructure, severely impacting water supply facilities and endangering the local population.
The project is designed to provide safe drinking water to displaced families living in shelters and tents, particularly in southern Gaza and Khan Younis.
The initiative is set to benefit more than 30,000 people.
