The University College of Applied Sciences in Gaza has launched the “Mercy Among Them” project to swiftly integrate health sciences students from Palestinian universities into the medical field in Gaza. This project is supported by funding from the International Islamic Charity Organization in Kuwait through the Israa Endowment.
Dr. Mohamed Mishtah, the university's Vice President for Planning and External Relations, stated to KUNA that the five-month initiative aims to place graduating students into healthcare roles in hospitals in southern Gaza.
Dr. Mishtah extended thanks to Kuwait’s leadership, government, and citizens for their ongoing, generous support for higher education in Gaza.
