Indian Foreign Minister Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar remarked on Sunday that India and Kuwait share a deep and historic relationship, with strategic partnerships spanning various sectors.
In comments to KUNA during his official visit to Kuwait, Jaishankar noted the strong alignment between the two nations on key issues. He pointed out that Kuwait is India's sixth-largest energy partner and that over one million Indian residents in Kuwait send around $1 billion in remittances each year.
He also highlighted the significant investments made by the Kuwait Investment Authority in India, reflecting a growing interest in foreign direct investment.
