The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Criminal Security Sector of the General Department of Criminal Investigations, has arrested the individual responsible for the armed robbery of a currency exchange office in Fintas.
According to a statement from the General Department of Public Relations and Security Media released on Sunday, the suspect had forcibly entered the office with a firearm and then escaped in a stolen taxi, which he commandeered by threatening the driver with the weapon.
The statement detailed that upon receiving the incident report, investigative teams worked continuously to gather evidence and track the suspect. Through surveillance footage and thorough investigation, authorities successfully identified and apprehended him.
