 Kuwait's Revolutionary Sewage Treatment: From Waste to Two Million Cubic Meters Daily!

Ahmed Al-Saleh, spokesperson for Kuwait's Ministry of Public Works, stated today that the sewage treatment process goes through several stages, resulting in a daily production of up to two million cubic meters. Al-Saleh explained in a press release that the ministry's sanitary engineering sector receives sewage daily through its nationwide network. This sewage is then transferred to pumping stations and subsequently to treatment plants through multiple stages to produce treated water (tertiary and quaternary).

He also mentioned that after treatment, the ministry pumps tertiary water to reservoirs managed by the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources. This water is used for landscaping projects across the country and on highways.
