 Brace for the Heatwave: ‘Jamarat Al-Qayth’ and ‘Marzam’ Season Set to Blaze Next Week!

The Al-Ajiri Scientific Center announced that the intense heat period known as "Jamarat Al-Qayth" will commence with the start of the "Marzam" season next Monday, lasting for 13 days.

According to a statement from the center to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the "Marzam" season represents a new phase of summer. It is the fifth stage of summer in traditional Arab terms and the sixth in both solar and lunar calendars. This season will be followed by the "Kleibin" period, known for its typical humidity in Kuwait, leading up to the "Suhail" season.

The statement highlighted that during the "Marzam" period, temperatures will rise significantly, a time marked by the term "Jamarat Al-Qayth" to indicate extreme heat. This season also corresponds with the harvest of dates from palm trees.
