Alert: Kuwait Braces for Dust Storms as Winds Reach 65 km/h Tomorrow!
Weather Update: Strong northwesterly and northerly winds causing dust until tomorrow Monday in #Kuwait.
The Meteorological Department reported today, Sunday, that the country is experiencing the effects of the seasonal Indian low, accompanied by intermittent northwesterly winds strong enough to stir up dust.
Yasser Al-Baloushi, Head of Marine Forecasts at Kuwait's Meteorological Department, explained to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the expected weather over the next 24 hours will see continuous wind activity from this evening until tomorrow morning.
Al-Baloushi added that wind speeds could reach up to 55 kilometers per hour on average, with gusts reaching 60 to 65 kilometers per hour, leading to reduced horizontal visibility, particularly tomorrow during the day.
