Air Peace Economy Class Fully Booked to London for 60 Days! Find Out Why Nigerians Are Choosing This Flight.

London flight big breaking news

The Chief Operating Officer of Air Peace, Toyin Olajide, has disclosed that all economy class seats on the airline's flights from Lagos to London are fully booked for the next 60 days starting from July. This announcement follows praise from Nigerian travelers and travel agents for Air Peace's recent launch of flight services to European destinations.

In a recent interview in Lagos, Olajide acknowledged the challenges faced by the airline on this route but expressed satisfaction in providing Nigerians with additional travel options. She reported that the airline's Sunday flight on June 30, 2024, to London saw full booking in economy class, with 41 seats occupied in business class. However, she noted a system error that initially failed to advertise first-class seats, which has since been corrected by management.

Olajide highlighted that Nigerian travelers from the United States to the United Kingdom choose Air Peace via Lagos due to cost-effective US-Europe flight connections, enabling significant savings compared to direct US-Nigeria flights.

The COO also mentioned instances where two passengers were upgraded from economy to business class as a gesture of appreciation for their loyalty and preference for Air Peace. She emphasized that the airline's entry into the market has not only enhanced accessibility but also diversified its passenger demographics, attracting elderly passengers, students, and families.

Moreover, Air Peace's operations have promoted Nigerian brands such as farm-fresh yogurt, Gratia chin chin flakes, Olu Olu chips, and local long-grain rice. This exposure has contributed to economic growth by benefiting small businesses and local farmers who supply agricultural produce.

Recently, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, announced the government's initiative to empower Nigerian airlines for direct international routes, including the United States and South American countries.

Air Peace commenced its Lagos-London flight services on March 20, marking a significant expansion in its international operations.
